Billy Faust is twentyfour years old and comes from Lebanon, Illinois... He runs the #26 Late Model with a Masterbilt Chassi and a Hatfield Motor...
Billy told me that he had started racing go carts at the early age of twelve and went from go carts into a modified at age fifteen......He went into a late model at the age of eighteen.....
He told me that his father Bill Faust had also raced and had been a big influence on him racing....
He told me that he feels you have to have a lot of luck riding with you when you race.. To be a good driver he said takes a lot of hard work...
He told me that he hopes that one day he will be able to race full time..
I asked him who he felt was his toughest competitor........he told me Randy Korte....
When I asked him if there was anythinkg about racing he would change if he could he told me no... that he was pretty satisfied...
Accomplishments that he named were winnng the Summer Nationals July of 03 at Calvert City, Ky and the Challenge of Champions Race in Peverly in October of 03..
His crew chief is Kevin Staas and his crew is Chris Rusick and Darren Redding
He wanted to give his mom Mickie and his dad Bill a very special thanks for all their love and support.....
