Tony Aldrich is 44 yrs old and lives in Louisville, Illinois... He runs the #4A 82' Cutless with a 355 Chevy Engine
I asked him when he first started racing and he laughed and told me this was it..his first year...
I asked him what had got him interested in racing and he told me that he just loved racing...... He said the track is close to his home and he diecided to give it a try...
I asked him if there had been anyone who had inspired him along the way and he told me that Tim and Chris Rinehart had..... He told me that these guys will be racing soon...
I asked him what he thought it took to be a good driver and he told me "GUTS"..
I had to laugh but quite agree....
I asked him what his long term goal is and he told me just to have fun..... I really like his carefree attitude...
He feels that Tim Murphy is one of his toughest competitors...
I asked him if there was anything about racing he would like to see changed and he told me nope..... said he was satisfied with how things are......... He told me that you can't keep everyone happy.. no use trying.... He said that he just appreciates having a place to go play and appreciates Richard Burmesiter's effort in giving them just that...
He told me his pit crew is himself and his friends Tim and Chris Rinehart... He told me if it wasn't for those two he would not be racing...
Tony... you were a pleasure to talk with... You have a very upbeat attitude and I like that.... I wish you lots of luck with your racing.... no matter what you do out there I know it will be fun for you and that is what matters most....
