Scott Dunlap is 37 years old and lives in Oblong, Illinois..
He runs the #79 street stock buick regal....It has a 350 engine....
The reason behind the #79...... it was the year his brother JR was born....
He claims Vermillion County as his hometrack as well as his favorite track to run................
Scott started his racing career twelve years ago in the 4 cylender division...
He started racing street stock six years ago...
I asked Scott what had inspired him to start racing and got a cute story.... He said that his brother JR had first started racing the #79 and then he went into the service... He said his dad Lloyd then decided to run the #79.... Lloyd didn't like it so Scott said he got drafted.... lol...
The driver Scott most admires is BILL ELLIOT
The driver he deems his toughest competitor : ED LAHEY
To be a good driver Scott said you need to have money to buy good equipment...
His goal in racing is just to have fun...
Scott likes to race in the middle groove on a tacky track...
Crew Chief is his dad Lloyd and Jimmy....
Team Members are Mike Rich, dad Lloyd and Jimmy..
