This was the first time for my husband and I to this track.... I was very impressed... the main grandstand as well as the stands in the pits were excellent...............and the bathrooms...... was I really at a track... they not only had toilets that flushed, sinks with running water..............ready for this..............they were air conditioned....
The track was really nice and true to the southern hospitality.... they were very friendly.....
We met up with Gennie, Mark and Nicole Bare and Cindy Snyder and Ray at the track ... they all went to the pit side so we joined them there....
Went to talk with Chad Kinder and Team #22.... none of us were able to make it to the races friday night so wanted to get some details...
Boys had a rough night of it.... said they had problems with the car and Chad said it was a difficult track to figure out... that it changed.... said he has been to that track twice before with no luck.... he was hoping for a better result tonight...
The guys said the feature didn't start til one a.m. and races were not over til two a.m. They told me a kid from Arkansas had won friday night.............so..... I was on a mission to find this kid.....
He was 23 year old Hunter Rasdon from Jonesboro, Arkansas.... He was parked all the way at the end of the pit area....reminded me of Joey Kramer... Joey seems to always park the farthest away and I always have to look him up.... Hunter was worth the walk as Joey always is.... Hunter is very fan friendly and I enjoyed talking with him... although....lol.... I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times and even had to have him write a couple of things down for me...... had a little trouble with that southern drawl...... he always laughed and would repeat for me..... Thanks so much Hunter for the interview.....
The racing got started around eight I believe... they moved pretty smoothly....
Chad Kinder's night was not much better then the night before....it is very seldom that you ever see the #22 car getting passed...but he couldn't get that car to do anything for him.... at the pill draw he picked a 192 out of 232 and no one picked lower then him...
He was in the 2nd heat at the tail (11th)... he made it to 6th putting him into a 2nd heat.... in the 2nd heat (or consi) he placed 3rd and made it into the feature but in about the 20th spot.... he ended up pulling off the track and placed 22nd..same as friday night...
Chad was very disappointed and said they had a lot to figure out on the car...something was very wrong.....
It took you three times to get the track at Brushcreek figured out ....but you came home with the Harley this year.....
YOu will get Clayhill figured out....you are tooooo competitive and will not let this track get by with beating you......
can't wait to see what happens there next year.....
No matter what I would go anywhere to watch you race Chad Kinder....
I have the results for the two nights of racing are located at:
