Rob Penny is 18 years old and lives in Owensboro, Ky... He is single
He runs the #129 modified with a Team GRT chassi and a Tim's Automotive Machine engine
When asked if there was a reason for the #129 he told me that when he got his first go cart it had the #129 on it and he just stuck with it....

He considers his hometrack Soggy Bottom and his favorite track to run is the "next one".....

Rob started racing at age 7 in go carts... He started racing a modified at age 15....

He said he got his inspiration from his father... He said that his dad owned a street car at a local race track...

The driver he most admires is RANDLE SWEENEY
The driver he deems his toughest competitor.... RANDLE SWEENEY

To be a good driver Rob says you need to be smooth and consistant.....and keep a level head...

His goal in racing is to one day race professional...

Anything in racing he feels needs to change....."the cost".....

Rob likes to run the low groove on a dry slick track..
