Finally... we headed to a race where the clouds looked favorable for us to get a race in....
we decided to get a motel room so we could take our puppy and not have to drive back so late tonight......WELL.... lol... if we had not got a room we would not have gotten out of there til one or two in the morning....guess what..
we were in the car heading to the motel by 9:34 p.m...... unbelieveable.... they dont mess around there.... they said they were starting racing at 7 oclock.... and it was pretty close.... they took a moderate intermission and didn't waste time getting cars lined up... the whole program was ran very very smooth....

The track is awesome ..very high banking... not sure of the size but looked bigger then most I have been to...they have a smaller track inside the outer one that the hornets raced on ...

We took Dennis Waggle with us to the track because Team #22 was leaving before he got off work.... lucky for us... the signs marking the Raceway are not very big and I think we would have had not such an easy time of it finding the track.... Dennis guided us right to it.... thanks Dennis...

There were 25 modified making 3 heats.. all 25 to Feature.... 20 laps $2000 to win...

heat one you had #23 Jeff Elliott and #77r on front row, 2nd row was #10m Jeff McGuins and #13 Justin Storey; 3rd row #129 Rob Penney and #0j of Bryce Jewell; 4th row was #31 of Tim Ellington and #2 of Dale Pierce..bringing up tail was the #K9 of Will Krup..
on the start the #77 went up in smoke and had to pull to the infield....
a caution came out for the #10m when he hit the wall in turn 3 hard...
after being in the lead for several laps the #23 of Elliott pulled to the infield .... that #K9 just kept on picking off cars.... t
he #13 pulls off with two laps to go....
And wow.... the #K9 of Will Krup came from the tail to take the win...IMPRESSIVE !!! #129 Penney 2nd; Jewel 3rd;

Heat two was Trent Young and Lentz on front row; 2nd row was Chad Kinder and Michael Atkins; 3rd row was #2 Dale Pierce and #1; 4th row was Randle Sweeney and #1
On the start Trent Young got out to the lead with Kinder in pursuit...by next lap Kinder had taken the lead and never looked back... he was on a rail....Trent gave Chad a run for his money coming in second; 3rd was Lentz; 4th was Sweeney; #1; Atkins and #1...

Heat three I did not get the line up.... the winner was the #26h of Justin Houston; 2nd Ron Reed;

feature:
lineup:
Will Krup and Chad KInder
Houston and Penney
Reed and Jewell
Young and Riley
Sweeney and Lentz
Pierce and Ladd
Richardson and Hetter
Ellington and Walls
Storey and Harms
Elliott and Goff
Miller and 77
Atkins and Jackson
McGuin

On the start Kinder got out to a very demanding lead... on the first lap the #10 of McGuins and #1r of Richardson pulled to the infield..
it was Kinder, Krup, Reed, Penney and Sweeney...the #47 of Reed gets around Krup...the #129 of Penney follows...
the #1 (green) pulls off track...Sweeney pulls off track on lap 7....it is Kinder, Reed, Young, Krup, Penney
on lap 11 the #K9 of Krup hits the wall in turn three hard...he is off....the #129 of Penney goes off before restart...
lap 13 caution out for the #44 of Lentz...
Kinder got out to the lead at the start of race and stayed there even thru the cautions... the #47 of Ron Reed kept up with him for a while and then Chad pulled away for the win...
2nd was Ron Reed ; 3rd was Trent Young; 4th was Justin Houston.....................

was a very fast race.... good clean racing by all.... very enjoyable....
hope to go back to this track again...
