When I went into the pit area it was very muddy in the middle of the field..all the rigs were parked in scattered areas trying to stay where it was dry..

At the pitgate I was told that all the tracks in the area had cancelled for the night and some had already cancelled for saturday......cars from other tracks were heading there.....they got over 80 cars...

I got interviews with Rob Stambaugh #67; Bobby Kitchen !*; Clint and Dave Jamison 4d and 5d; Dave Groves #T3 and Junior Nolan...owner of 2brothers motorsports...

I got to talk with hot shoe Jacob Hawlkins.... he is such a sweetie...

This was my second trip to Brushcreek.... last year the Harley was won by David Hess,jr #44....
I never ran into Melissa Partin this year...was hoping to...

On a good note......it was amazing that this track was able to get their race on...
the track was very raceable and a lot of passing was going on.... there were rough spots in it....especially between one and two....
They started late because of allowing time for the other drivers to make it to the track... I don't think the drivers meeting was until 7ish....
They qualified the modified.... I like qualifying better then pill draws...but.... this took forever...
They only have one way to get on and off the track so. they put one car on the track at a time instead of sending out a second car while first car is finishing their time lap..
The food was great .......ask my husband.... lol...

One request I have...and not just for this track..... when you are going to announce the lineup for a heat or feature......please try doing it before the cars come out on the track.... there is no way we can hear what you are saying once the cars are out there...you can refresh the names once they are lining up.....

I appreciate after being at the track from 4:30 pm that they did all they could to put the race on....but.... it was awful...... no fault of the track !!!!.... the fog started rolling in and we could not see anything.... when the modified would go out the fog would lift......crazy...
I wish they would have let the cars go out and run a few laps before they started the racing.... on the first modified consi there was a pile up on back stretch... had no clue who or how many but I do know that only four or five cars finished...by third consi it was better.............. then............they brought out the late model feature which fog had lifted somewhat after the modified consi's.........then they brought out the Legends and you could not see them............they called that race for safety............then....they brought out the modified feature...and had thought about canceling it............. the modifieds ran around on the track to help lift fog...then they cut the laps to 40 instead of 58.....
Rough night for everyone........

I did not know a lot of the drivers so was hard to follow the heats and feature... you could not hear the announcer that well from where I was sitting..

They were real strict on their jump starts ..if you jumped the start you were penalized two rows....ouch...
In heat one for modifieds you had Mark Anderson and Doug Adkins on front row...2nd row was a #0 and Mike Spatola, 3rd row was Rob Stambaugh and a #4; next row was David McWilliams and Clint Jamison and not sure from there back..
on the start Mark Anderson got charged with jumping the gun...was put back two rows...
first caution was for the #89 of Mike Spatola who almost rolled his car..he went off by hook...
the 7 of Adkins led most the laps..he however was threatened by the #0 who got past him for about three laps...then Adkins took the lead once again... the #67 of Stambaugh gathered in the #0 and finished 2nd//
with two laps to go a caution came out for the #73... on restart another caution comes out for the #1
Three going to feature: Adkins; Stambaugh; #0

now fireball is in the lead with the #28, 7 16 and 22 following...
Shelby is smoking.... the #28 of Morehouse takes the lead... on last lap there was a crash between the #29L and the #7w of Wheatley...
The three to feature are: #28 Morehouse, the M16, the #8 of fireball

heat three Don Adams and Dave Groves are in front row, 2nd row is Hall and Ruhl; third row is the 11 and Dave Jamison

Heat four you had Ben Adkins and Jacob Hawkins on front row, 2nd row was the #47 and #01, 3rd row was Chad Kinder and Randle Sweeney, ......
It really is hard for me to write up a report on this heat because of course my eyes are totally on Chad Kinder.... ...
Ben Adkins got out to the lead and right away Chad Kinder had moved into 2nd spot with the#137 of Jacob Hawkins in 3rd...
Chad was fast !!!
Chad takes the lead............he is flyin....
a yellow comes out for the #1* of Bobby Kitchen....two laps are in...
the number #47 got past the #137 before the finish...
three to feature; Chad Kinder smile.gif ; Ben Adkins; #47

heat five front row is #03 and #8s of Chris Stotts; ..couldn't see very well and did not hear announcing.....so don't know rest of lineup..
first caution came out for the #21 and the #03 ...next caution came out with 2 laps in for the 1....
the #21 goes off with a flat tire....
four to feature are : #03; Chris Stotts , #12 and #9

heat six had Jared Landers and Weasel Rhoades on front row; 2nd row is Kent Robinson and #1; 3rd row is Kevin Weaver and #28; next row is #j4 and 4j; fifth row is #11 and #52;
The 777 of Jared Landers got out to a strong lead...the #68 of Weasel was right behind him...Kent fell into the 3rd spot smile.gif and that is how it finished ..with the B12 Weaver finishing fourth

B Main 1.......top two to feature:
there was a big pile up at the start of this race...the fog was very thick and I could not see the cars....the #43 and the #53 of Anderson and Tolson both left race with flat tires...
there were only like five cars left in race... the #1 and the #8 made it to the feature..

B Main 2 ...two to feature were Dave Jamison and Jacob Hawkins...

B Main 3..two to feature were Kenny Johnson and Kevin Weaver...
i
