Jeremy Nichols is 28 years old and lives in Dectur, Illinois... He has two children : Carley and Dayton...
Jeremy is also known by his friends as : MR HIGH SIDE and MR J SMOOTH..
Jermey runs the #01 modified with a Nichols Race Cars Chassi and a #406 engine..
He claims Macon Couty Speedway as his hometrack and also his favorite track to run.....
The reason behind his #01..........he was a big fan of "DUKES OF HAZARD"...
Jeremy started racing at age 17 in the bomber division.... he started racing modifieds last year....
When I asked him what had inspired him to start racing he told me that he had always liked it as a kid so decided to do it....
The driver he most admires is JEFF LEKA
The driver he deems his toughest competitior is JEFF LEKA
To be a good driver he says you need to be smooth...................
His goal in racing is to win the NATIONAL UMP POINTS FOR MODIFIEDS...
When asked if there was anything in racing he felt needed changed he said "the TIRES..."
A racing highlight for Jeremy was winning his first feature win in a modified last year...
He likes to run the high groove on a dry slick track...
