A J Dixon is 28 years old and single.... He lives in Manteno, Illinois....
AJ runs the #20 modified with a Bob Pierce Chassi and a NAC Racing Engine...
The reason behind his number....he is a Tony Stewart fan....... ah oh.....hey AJ...are you going to change to #14....lol...
He claims Kankakee Motor Speedway as his hometrack as well as his favorite track to run.....
AJ started racing at age 13 in go carts ......since then he has raced in the street stock division, the late model division and has raced a modified for the last five years....
His inspiration to start racing he credits his dad Chuck Dixon.... his dad raced for thirty years so AJ has been around racing all his life....
Drivers that he most admires...... of course.... TONY STEWART...... and SCOTT BULL.......
His toughtest competitiors for him has been MIKE SPATOLA and JIM FARRIS.....
To be a good driver AJ says you need to have PATIENCE....
His goal in racing is to not wreck and not to make enemies.....
When asked if there was anything in racing he felt needed changing he said safety issues needed to be improved...
A racing highlight that stands out for him was when he won his first trophy dash and it was his second time out in the modified....and.... he beat Dave Porth doing it....
He likes to race the low groove on a dry slick track...
